3D on the internet using x3d

X3D is the standard for communicating 3D content over the internet. Web authors can now add 3D content to their websites as easily as adding other multimedia content such as video and images. In order to add 3D content to your website you will need to include a 3D player in your HTML. Some commercial 3D players on the market that can be embedded in a web page are activeX controls and can only work with a certain web browser such as Internet Explorer. A new x3d player on the scene works in with all popular web browsers such as Firefox, IE, Safari and Chrome.
